You tell them [children] things and they stay forever.

When Lisa - the main character in the movie The Kindergarten Teacher - tells about her job, her poetry teacher responds: "It's... It's very delicate. You tell them [children] things and they stay forever." is what stayed with me from the movie The Kindergarten Teacher. The same weekend I watched it, I was on a task of writing copy for Asako Shimazaki's - a Montessori school teacher and an acclaimed artist who is represented in the permanent collection of San Francisco Museum of Modern Art - Tiny Publishings reading. I turned her bio upside down.

Turning artist Asako Shimazaki's bio upside down by starting it with: 'Shimazaki has taught at a Montessori preschool since 1998' other than 'Shimazaki's work is represented in the permanent collection at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

We tell children stories, and they stay forever.
