Gozde Efe
Executive Director & Board Member
Gozde is an artist, educator and entrepreneur. She received an MFA degree in Film and New Genres from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2016. She worked for many non profit organizations including United Nations, UNICEF, Institute of Francais, European Arts Commission, Benihoff Children's Hospital and more.

Jacqualine Miller
Board Member

​Jacqueline Miller is a bestselling author and internationally recognized consultant. She is a highly sought after speaker on personal as well as organizational change management and self esteem. Miller has been featured on CNN, CBS Evening News, The Nightly Business Report and many other media outlets. She founded and serves as Chief Executive Officer of Partnerships For Change®, a non-profit headquartered in San Francisco and is affiliated with the United Nations. PFC is dedicated to accelerating personal, social, environmental and economic transformation.

Her degrees and early expertise in psychotherapy and crisis intervention are the source of her passion. She served as an executive with the Sara Lee Corporation.

Berfin Tasci
Photographer & Graphic Designer
Berfin started her career with a Film & Tv bachelor's degree followed by a MA in graphic design. She is passionate about working with children whether it's in a classroom or behind the camera.

Asako Shimazaki
Board Member
​Asako Shimazaki is an artist, exhibiting her work in both the US and Japan, and is represented in the permanent collection at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and permanent library at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
​In 1991 completed her BFA in photography at the San Francisco Art Institute.

She has been teaching in Montessori Children's House of the West Coast in San Francisco since 1998.

Vivienne Antal
Board Member & Advisor
Vivienne served in the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a Senior Stakeholder Liaison for 21 years. She is a certified trainer of applied compassion training. She developed a program for teaching compassion cultivation and de-escalation of conflict at Stanford University in 2020.

Nicolle Azzari Garcia
Communications & Events Manager
Nicolle served in the Golden Gate Station, US Coast Guard, for five years followed by a Communications and Marketing degree from the San Francisco State University.
